To promote the cooperation between fellow organizations and national and international companies in order to ease the exchange of information and experiences;
To elaborate and develop educational, technical, scientific, economic and cultural projects which ensure the promotion of cooperation, socioeconomic development and citizenship, as well as raise funds to finance them;
To provide consulting and support for the execution of national and international projects;
To promote the education and training of agents specialized in cooperation for organizations of the civil society;
To conduct basic studies and researches, applied to the areas in which ICOOI works and other related areas, aiming for the creation of specific knowledge;
To promote and disseminate innovative experiences of national and international cooperation, recognizing talents and efforts;
To promote events, symposiums, fairs and lectures, by ourselves or in partnership with public and private national and international institutions;
To develop, generate, license and certify cooperative technologies in the strategic, operational, human as well as of information aspects;
To organize, produce and publish technical, cultural and artistic information, through the internet and other means of communication;
To promote the defense of international cooperation, environmental conservation, historical, artistic and cultural heritage and of the sustainable development;
